about

This album was recorded and produced by Jesse Hawley (Modular Moose) on several analog, digital, and modular synthesizers and effects pedals.

The idea of this album was motivated by the sad state of my current city, Erie PA and the countless small towns throughout Pennsylvania and across the United States. It's these areas whose industries and economies have suffered from massive job loss and outsourcing- these conditions have left the infrastructure crumbling, and many denizens without sustainable incomes.

The grittyness and tonal characteristics of the music aim to reflect the somber feelings and attitudes of seeing and living in such places that seem to have been forsaken by those who could have improved the situations there.

Thanks for listening
